Just wanted to post an update on the Frankie 2 right hands situation. I just got off the phone with Mattel and they are sending me a bag of arms to replace the extra right hand. This is my 4th time calling Mattel about with a product problem and they have been nothing but helpful and polite and quick to solve my problems.
4 problems you say?!? Well 3 were Monster High related and one was a Fisher Price toy for my son. Considering the amount of mh dolls I buy for repainting and my personal collection, I don’t think 3 is so bad. But I do like to call them so they know when there is a problem with one of their products. For the record, I called about the hands, one hair/glue problem and my CAM monster set had a serial number printed across her stomach instead of the back. I got a replacement doll for the glue thing and they sent me a $20 voucher for the CAM set.
So please, if you ever have a problem with a Monster High doll, please take the time to call Mattel. Yeah, I realize it’s easier to email, but you really get better service when you call (and are polite). Their customer service folks are super nice and very eager to rectify the situation.
